Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 18 years old or older
  • Significant restaurant operations experience
  • Multi-unit restaurant management experience required
  • Ability to learn and apply standard operating procedures
  • Ability to learn and apply HR policies and procedures
  • Experience in P&L analysis and corrective actions
  • Demonstrated supervisory practices
  • Experience interviewing and identifying high performers
  • Knowledge of applicable employment laws
  • Ability to execute training and development
  • Strong PC skills
  • Ability to complete Serve Safe and Phase Training
  • Food safety certification
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
  • Must be able to work in hot and cold environments
  • Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and grab
  • Must be able to work in loud environments
  • Must be able to see, hear, talk, smell and taste
  • Must be able to wear a headset to take orders
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Travel required between restaurants including up to 10% outside local area

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • College degree preferred
  • Significant restaurant operations experience
  • Multi-unit restaurant management experience required or equivalent education and experience
  • Ability to learn and apply company standard operating procedures
  • Ability to learn and apply human resources policies and procedures
  • Experience with P&L analysis and corrective measures
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience
  • Experience interviewing and identifying high-performing candidates
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Ability to execute training and development practices
  • Strong PC skills
  • Ability to complete recommended training programs such as Serve Safe and Phase Training
  • Food safety certification

Job Duties

  • Ensure proper staffing levels are achieved
  • Ensure diversity of management workforce
  • Monitor crew and management labor availability
  • Maintain recruiting, recognition, and retention systems for management
  • Develop staffing plans to maintain management stability
  • Execute quality, timely performance feedback and reviews
  • Develop subordinates to maximize contributions and promotion opportunities
  • Provide restaurant management training and development
  • Achieve certified training restaurant goals
  • Mentor District Managers to improve operational performance
  • Oversee a District Manager directly managing 6-7 restaurants
  • Ensure food safety procedures comply with company and health regulations
  • Conduct restaurant visits to monitor and improve quality, service, and cleanliness
  • Implement corrective actions as required
  • Protect Wendy's brand and company assets through compliance
  • Evaluate store performance and coach managers
  • Maximize sales goals including marketing program execution
  • Develop and manage local restaurant marketing plans
  • Manage new product rollout requirements
  • Monitor budgets, food, and labor costs
  • Use profit and loss statements to track and correct financial outcomes
  • Utilize knowledge of operations, budgeting, and accounting to maximize growth
  • Develop and train subordinates in business operations and opportunity identification
  • Participate in strategic planning initiatives
  • Perform other assigned job duties as required
