Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field
  • at least 4 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • thorough understanding of practices theories and policies involved in business and finance
  • superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • superior managerial and diplomacy skills
  • extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • excellent analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • exceptional financial acumen for budgeting forecasting and cost management
  • in-depth knowledge of F&B operations menu development and inventory control
  • comprehensive understanding of health safety and sanitation
  • excellent problem-solving strategic planning and organizational abilities
  • proficiency in hospitality software POS systems and data analysis tools
  • must be able to travel as needed to support operations

Job Duties

  • Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics guidelines and standards by which the company's efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated
  • identifies opportunities for improvement
  • reviews analyzes and evaluates business procedures
  • implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations
  • ensures work environments are adequate and safe
  • oversees purchasing and sales departments ensuring each is reaching goals set by departmental and company leadership
  • oversees all food and beverage operations from menu development to service delivery
  • collaborates with Head Chef and F&B Director to develop and update menus ensuring high quality taste and presentation while staying current with industry trends
  • manages F&B budgets controls costs and analyzes sales data to optimize profitability
  • negotiates with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality product delivery
  • ensures strict compliance with all health safety and sanitation regulations
  • implements and audits safety protocols and procedures across all departments
  • plans directs controls implements evaluates monitors and forecasts budgets and costs of sales in each division to achieve financial objectives
  • communicates and explains new directives policies or procedures to managers for major changes meets with the entire operations staff to explain changes answer questions and maintain morale
  • improves customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes
  • leads coordination and integration of efforts among operations engineering technology and customer service divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes
  • projects a positive image of the organization to employees customers industry and community
  • performs other related duties as assigned
