Job Requirements
- High school diploma required
- college degree preferred
- 18 years old or older
- significant restaurant operations experience including multi-unit management
- ability to learn and apply company standard operating procedures
- ability to learn and apply HR policies and procedures
- proficiency in P&L analysis and corrective measures
- demonstrated supervisory experience
- experience in interviewing and hiring high-performing candidates
- knowledge of applicable employment laws
- ability to execute training and development practices
- strong PC skills
- ability to complete recommended training programs such as Serve Safe and Phase Training
- food safety certification
- must be able to stand for long periods without a break
- must be able to work in hot and cold environments
- must be able to walk, bend, kneel, reach, grab
- must be able to work in loud environments
- must be able to see, hear, talk, smell, taste
- must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- travel required between restaurants with some travel outside local area
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- college degree preferred
- significant multi-unit restaurant management experience
- strong knowledge of restaurant operations and human resource policies
- demonstrated experience in supervisory practices
- experience interviewing and identifying high-performing candidates
- knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
- ability to execute training and development practices
- strong PC skills
- food safety certification
- ability to complete Serve Safe and Phase Training programs
Job Duties
- Ensures proper staffing levels and diversity of management workforce
- monitors crew and management labor availability and maintains recruiting, recognition, and retention systems
- develops crew and management staffing plans and executes timely performance feedback and reviews
- develops subordinates for future promotion and provides proper management training
- mentors District Managers to improve operational performance
- ensures food safety procedures according to company policies and health regulations and takes corrective action
- plans and conducts restaurant visits to improve quality, service, and cleanliness standards
- monitors and implements corrective actions to meet customer satisfaction standards
- ensures protection of brand and company assets through compliance
- maximizes sales goals and manages local marketing plans
- monitors budgets, food, and labor costs and implements corrective actions
- applies knowledge of restaurant operations, budgeting, and accounting to maximize profitability
- develops subordinates to understand business operations and identify areas for improvement
- participates in strategic planning initiatives
- performs other assigned duties
