Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or closely related field
  • 10+ years manufacturing, operations or related experience
  • knowledge of Boeing and Gulfstream aerostructure assembly manufacturing
  • aerospace manufacturing or engineering experience
  • working knowledge of customer specifications and supplier customer knowledge
  • proficient operational and financial acumen
  • strong ethical leadership abilities
  • team player mindset
  • ability to forecast and make projections up to three years
  • US citizenship, permanent residence or immigration status required for select positions due to ITAR and EAR

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or related field

Job Duties

  • Support and maintain Stuart's safety first culture
  • improve and restore customer confidence
  • leverage lean and continuous improvement principles to expand production footprint and capabilities
  • demonstrate and support Daher’s leadership principles including focus on results, initiative and responsibility, company interests, teamwork, participatory decision making, explicit goals and shareholder consideration
  • work closely with EHS Manager to promote and improve safety programs
  • manage operation of full-scale aerospace production system including industrial transfer
  • assure effective utilization of resources in components, subassembly, assembly, and completions areas
  • adjust work assignments to accommodate production flow
  • support continuous improvement initiatives to meet production schedules and financial targets
  • monitor progress of work for adherence to schedules and quality
  • provide immediate status updates on production problems affecting schedules
  • manage rework ensuring compliance with customer and FAA quality standards
  • collaborate with Human Resources to enhance training, hiring and employee development
  • advise supervisors and staff to meet production schedule, cost and quality goals
  • resolve technical and operational problems via subordinate managers and staff
  • oversee multiple direct reports
  • travel domestically and internationally as required (Mexico, Europe)
