Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of restaurant management experience
  • Proven leadership of multiple managers in high-volume units
  • Strong quick service restaurant knowledge
  • Experience as an Area Coach leading several general managers
  • Experience running a successful restaurant
  • Corporate field operations leadership experience
  • Cross-functional team leadership experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong conflict resolution and team building capabilities

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 10+ years restaurant management experience with a strong record in people growth, talent recruitment, development and performance management
  • Extensive quick service restaurant experience balancing quality and fast service
  • Experience leading multiple managers across multiple high-volume units
  • Proven track record as an Area Coach managing 6-8 general managers
  • Experience running a successful restaurant with solid understanding of restaurant operations and team roles
  • Corporate restaurant company field operations leadership experience
  • Cross-functional corporate office team leadership experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to develop teams, drive culture, solve problems, manage time effectively, and achieve results through others

Job Duties

  • Recruit and equip the best operators in the world to deliver great customer experiences
  • Build a healthy and robust bench of developed and capable managers
  • Hold area coaches accountable for people, customer, sales and profit targets
  • Lead by example and be a culture champion
  • Leverage culture and people capability to fuel brand performance
  • Provide resolution and support for employee relations activities
  • Provide leadership to ensure customer satisfaction across all restaurants
  • Coach Area Coaches and Restaurant Managers on executing the Taco Bell Operating System and delivering Brand Standards including food safety
  • Identify and resolve brand protection issues promptly
  • Execute Global Operating System initiatives flawlessly
  • Comply uncompromisingly with local regulations on occupational safety, health standards and company policies
  • Partner with Managers to build sales over previous year achievements
  • Train and execute marketing promotions
  • Coach Area Coaches on training restaurant managers to improve financial results
  • Drive profit targets and meet flow-thru objectives
  • Utilize reports to identify operational opportunities
  • Demonstrate ownership in resolving repair and maintenance issues and identifying trends
