Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university or college
  • At least four years of related hospitality experience or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with room inventory and occupancy management
  • Experience with hotel restaurant systems such as MICROS
  • Excellent computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office

Job Duties

  • Assist the general manager with operation and administration of all hotel departments including front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage
  • Partner with HR and accounting to ensure consistent and effective hotel processes
  • Balance departmental operations focusing on guest experience and profitability
  • Ensure all hotel operations are carried out professionally and to high standards of service
  • Plan, implement, and control departmental strategies to achieve operational goals
  • Lead, train, coach, motivate, engage, and provide feedback to hotel staff, supervisors, and managers
  • Assume general manager role in their absence
