Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- at least 10 years of relevant experience in large-scale event production, tourism, community programming, or a related field
- demonstrated experience coordinating multi-stakeholder initiatives, preferably in the public or nonprofit sector
- strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- commitment to equity, accessibility, and community engagement

Job Duties
- Develop and implement a citywide strategy for public World Cup watch parties and related community activations
- coordinate with Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), plaza partners, cultural institutions, and community-based organizations to support existing events and establish new ones, with an emphasis on equitable geographic distribution
- oversee site selection, logistics, accessibility, safety planning, and operational delivery for public events
- build and manage a citywide volunteer program, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and supervision
- manage external vendors, budgets, timelines, and performance tracking for activation initiatives
- ensure all programming is welcoming, culturally responsive, and accessible to diverse communities
- build and maintain a comprehensive calendar of World Cup activations
- serve as liaison to City agencies to coordinate and support agency World Cup activations (DOT, SBS, MOME)
