Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience preferably in fundraising hospitality or service industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word Excel and CRM systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Commitment to customer service excellence

Job Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree preferred
  • 5-7+ years of related experience in sales preferably fundraising hospitality or service industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Undergraduate degree in business marketing public relations communications or hotel and restaurant management preferred
  • Strong sales skills required
  • Knowledge of golf preferred
  • Sales training preferred
  • Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Word Excel and CRM
  • Solid time management organization and prioritization skills with ability to work independently
  • Excellent customer service orientation and focus on customer satisfaction required
  • Strong leadership and people skills with ability to build and foster a team environment

Job Duties

  • Achieve membership department's sales plan goals and objectives following all guidelines policies and procedures
  • Generate enough prospect inventory to support the club's sales plan and maintain prospect database using CRM system
  • Execute follow up with new members through 30/60/90 campaigns resulting in member referral
  • Maintain the Membership Committee focused on prospect and new member generation
  • Assist with connecting new members to the membership at large
  • Represent the club in community activities and organizations to build awareness and develop prospective member sources
  • Prepare and attend weekly sales meetings with GM
  • Collaborate with VPM and marketing manager to develop annual and quarterly game plan to generate qualified leads through strategy and pricing
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as needed or directed, supporting overall club operations
  • Adhere to company and club policies and procedures, and promote the club within the local community by attending member functions and sponsoring events
  • Maintain communication through weekly department head and sales meetings
  • Implement and support company initiatives and programs as requested
