Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in membership or lifestyle program leadership
  • Proven track record of successful membership growth and engagement
  • Strong understanding of luxury consumer behavior
  • Interest in wellness and wellness programming
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Financial management experience
  • Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience leading membership or lifestyle programs, preferably in luxury hospitality, private clubs, or brand experience environments
  • Proven success in driving membership growth and engagement through creative strategy and relationship-based sales
  • Strong understanding of the luxury consumer and ability to sell aspirational lifestyle experiences
  • Interest in wellness and ability to authentically integrate wellness programming into membership offerings
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and revenue targets
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to identify and execute new business opportunities

Job Duties

  • Lead the strategy, development, and execution of the Proper Club membership program, including acquisition, retention, and engagement
  • Identify and convert prospective members through strategic outreach, relationship building, and community presence
  • Develop and manage pricing models, membership tiers, and benefits that align with Proper’s brand and business goals
  • Create membership campaigns and activations that highlight Proper’s unique blend of hospitality, wellness, and culture
  • Partner with marketing and PR teams to craft compelling membership narratives and digital storytelling
  • Oversee the daily operations of the members’ spaces including the lounge, gym, recovery room, and class studios ensuring exceptional service and atmosphere
  • Curate a calendar of members-only events, activations, and experiences across wellness, culinary, and cultural programming
  • Foster a strong member community through personalized engagement and proactive relationship management
  • Collaborate with hotel operations and F&B teams to deliver an integrated, elevated member experience
  • Leverage Proper’s wellness amenities and partners as a cornerstone of the membership value proposition
  • Develop and promote exclusive wellness touchpoints such as workshops, classes, retreats, and collaborations that reinforce Proper’s positioning in wellness lifestyle hospitality
  • Build partnerships with leading wellness brands, practitioners, and influencers to enhance member offerings
  • Lead and mentor the membership team, fostering a culture of hospitality, performance, and creativity
  • Set and manage budgets, monitor KPIs, and report on membership performance and growth
  • Identify new revenue opportunities within membership and wellness experiences
