Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in media operations or technical project management
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams or projects
  • proficiency in project management and automation tools
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • exceptional organizational and communication abilities
  • ability to work in a remote-first, fast-paced environment
  • based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco, California

Job Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in media operations, project management, or technical operations in a media-focused environment
  • 2+ years managing cross-functional projects or teams including media, analytics, engineering
  • advanced proficiency in project management tools such as ClickUp, Notion, or Asana
  • familiarity with automation tools like Zapier or Airtable
  • proven ability to identify bottlenecks and build scalable workflows
  • strong analytical instincts with experience designing dashboards and automated reporting
  • meticulous attention to detail with file structure, compliance, naming conventions, and SOPs
  • excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments

Job Duties

  • Work in close partnership with the VP of Media on media team org planning and growth
  • set direction and the operating cadence for all channels
  • define an ongoing strategy for prioritization of organic channels
  • secure executive buy-in on resource allocation
  • make clear tradeoff calls for media investments
  • identify key hiring and resourcing needs
  • develop and execute recruiting plans end to end
  • architect and lead the operational backbone of media organization across both customer and talent brands
  • manage vendor relationships and deliverables ensuring quality, speed to publish, and optimize cost per asset
  • build systems, dashboards, and automations that improve team velocity and visibility
  • use these tools to drive cross-functional decisions
  • ensure media teams are always ahead of the ball on media inputs and outputs with conflict-free production planning, resource management, and posting calendars
  • create real-time reporting infrastructure that turns creative output into measurable audience growth and business impact
  • hit clear KPIs for the team, increase publishing frequency, raise asset quality, and reduce redundant work across channels
