Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in marketing, graphic design, communications, or public relations or one to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- skill in meeting and/or exceeding expectations with well-developed communication skills and personal poise
- excellent teamwork skills, ability to work cooperatively with others
- ability to organize workflow and meet established deadlines
- ability to attend events outside traditional business hours including evenings and weekends
- must possess current, valid driver’s license
- must have current working telephone accessible by building management
- excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
- ability to engage in public speaking
- ability to read, analyze, and interpret various instructions and regulations
- ability to solve complex problems with sensitivity and diplomacy
- ability to maintain calm and composure in fast-paced environments
- ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- ability to travel distances on foot quickly and manage diverse on-site needs
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, or public relations or equivalent combination of education and experience
- experience in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite programs such as Photoshop and InDesign or equivalent design programs
- excellent communication skills including public speaking and writing reports
- ability to organize workflow and meet deadlines
- ability to work cooperatively within a team environment
- strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Job Duties
- Create marketing ad plans for assigned events and coordinate publicity for events and facilities
- work directly with promoters, tours and event planners to create ad plans including media buying, design services, and promotional development
- monitor ticket sales reports and reprioritize marketing efforts to maximize ticket sales
- establish strong working relationships with media partners to ensure best rates, deal points, and promotions
- develop good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicate event details throughout campaigns
- coordinate on-site marketing responsibilities including advancing show details, escorting media and sponsors, and managing event promotions
- create and compile post-event reports including invoices, tear sheets, patron feedback, and related materials
