Job Requirements
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 8-10 years experience in marketing or related professional area
- demonstrated skills in supervising a team
- knowledge of lifestyle marketing trends
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- proficiency in digital marketing tools and strategies
- ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively
- willingness to work onsite in Philadelphia

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Develop the annual strategic marketing and PR plan, as well as the marketing budget
- serve as a key leader on the hotel’s executive committee and drive brand and marketing culture
- represent marketing and maintain connection to business and financial goals with ownership and leadership
- manage marketing team where applicable
- research competitors’ sales and marketing strategies to grow occupancy and market share
- attend sales strategy meetings to provide marketing input
- craft innovative marketing ideas and deployment strategies
- serve as property marketing leader collaborating with general manager, ownership, sales, revenue, and event management
- maintain performance by increasing revenues and controlling expenses
- implement brand service strategy and build long-term customer relationships
- interface with field marketing for regional and national promotions
- own agency relationships for PR and social execution
- set goals for direct reports and manage performance
- develop regular programming calendars and initiatives
- coordinate crisis communications
- manage creative input, budgets, and production
- connect with local and national PR teams
- act as stakeholder to Americas Field Marketing for digital strategy
- manage property content strategy
- create digital identity across platforms
- manage reputation review sites
- serve as hotel authority on W Brand
- develop and manage internal stakeholder relationships
- develop strong community and public relations
- understand customer needs and build loyalty
- gain understanding of brand target customer and service expectations
