Job Requirements

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in business administration, sales, or related major
  • 2 years experience in hospitality sales, spa sales or a comparable professional area
  • or 4-year bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or related major
  • 1 year experience in hospitality sales, spa sales or a comparable professional area

Job Qualifications

  • 2-year degree from accredited university in Business Administration, Sales, or related field with 2 years experience in Hospitality Sales or Spa Sales
  • OR 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field with 1 year experience in Hospitality Sales or Spa Sales
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Proficient in digital marketing platforms and analytics
  • Experience with public relations and media management
  • Ability to develop strategic marketing plans aligned with business goals
  • Skilled in analyzing marketing data and adjusting strategies accordingly

Job Duties

  • Develop overarching marketing strategy including marketing plans and property email strategy
  • Oversee execution of all marketing initiatives, projects and collateral production
  • Cultivate partnerships and participate in demand generation strategy development
  • Reconcile marketing plan monthly with accruals and forecast
  • Lead repositioning efforts with Area Team, GM and hotel executive team
  • Serve as the hotel’s brand guardian and liaison
  • Partner with Revenue Management to develop and execute promotional strategy
  • Support group lead generation efforts
  • Analyze and articulate key marketing reports to stakeholders and owners
  • Manage internal and external partners to ensure deliverables support hotel strategy
  • Develop and set annual digital marketing plan and partnership strategies
  • Manage OTA strategy with Revenue Management
  • Monitor and recommend SEO updates
  • Manage cluster marketing strategies when applicable
  • Own direct asset development such as photoshoots
  • Maintain engagement with Area Directors of Marketing
  • Set Public Relations strategy and manage PR agency or messaging
  • Measure and communicate success of campaigns
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Manage marketing team including interviewing, selecting and onboarding
  • Handle employee complaints and disciplinary actions as needed
  • Evaluate employees’ productivity and recommend promotions
  • Conduct annual performance appraisals
  • Complete other duties as requested
