Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, or related field preferred
- minimum 5 years relevant experience in hospitality marketing or brand communications
- strong proficiency with digital and social media marketing platforms
- exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills
- ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- flexible to work evenings or weekends as needed
- strong creative and storytelling capabilities
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Job Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of hospitality, brand marketing, communications, or public relations experience
- strong storytelling instincts with ability to capture and identify compelling content
- proven project management experience in cross-functional environments
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- experience supporting or hosting content creators, media, or influencers
- strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines
- experience in premium, luxury, lifestyle, or independent hospitality preferred
- comfortable producing light content with mobile device for marketing use
Job Duties
- Maintain and elevate the property’s brand identity across all guest and operational touchpoints
- collaborate with F&B, Spa, Rooms, Events, and Sales teams to ensure brand-aligned storytelling and experience delivery
- identify unique elements of the property, destination, and guest experience that strengthen the brand narrative
- ensure local marketing materials (collateral, signage, menus, displays) reflect approved brand standards
- serve as the on-property steward of the Stay Golden loyalty program
- partner with the on-property revenue team to monitor booking trends and opportunity gaps
- ensure all on-property activations convert guest interest into leisure room nights and ancillary spend
- provide home office teams with details and creative briefs to fuel marketing channels
- capture on-property photography and short-form video
- identify story opportunities tied to culinary, wellness, design, events, team members, and local culture
- prepare shoot locations and coordinate staff/talent for photography, video, or influencer content
- host and manage influencers, media, and content creators
- maintain a library of visual and narrative assets
- deploy home office marketing assets consistently and accurately
- communicate operational updates impacting marketing upstream on time
- oversee on-property execution for seasonal campaigns, events, and promotions
- confirm all marketing deliverables are implemented within required timelines
- serve as project manager for on-property marketing initiatives
- manage timelines, deliverables, and cross-department responsibilities
- track content needs, approvals, deadlines, and deployment windows
- maintain a master property marketing calendar
- identify risks or operational blockers and communicate them
- ensure all departments provide necessary marketing inputs on schedule
- build and maintain partnerships with local businesses and community organizations
- identify brand-aligned collaborations to enhance awareness
- represent the hotel at community events and media engagements
- develop co-marketing opportunities
- serve as main contact for home office marketing initiatives
- provide weekly updates to home office
- supply timely property inputs including F&B menus, spa promotions, event details, photography and story content, operational changes
- participate in monthly planning sessions
- share insights on guest response, local trends, and competitive activity
- provide feedback on home office campaign performance
- surface on-property wins and local experiences for broader marketing use
- maintain guest sentiment awareness and feedback loops with home office teams
