Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, or a related field preferred
  • 5 to 7+ years of relevant experience in hospitality marketing or brand management
  • Proven ability to manage cross-departmental projects and marketing initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams
  • Experience with content creation including photography and video
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and guest experience standards
  • Ability to manage timelines, deadlines, and project deliverables effectively

Job Qualifications

  • 5 to 7+ years of hospitality, brand marketing, communications, or public relations experience
  • Strong storytelling instincts with ability to capture and identify compelling content
  • Proven project management experience in a cross-functional environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience supporting or hosting content creators, media, or influencers
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and deadlines
  • Experience in premium, luxury, lifestyle, or independent hospitality environments preferred
  • Comfortable producing light content with mobile devices for marketing use

Job Duties

  • Maintain and elevate the property's brand identity across all guest and operational touchpoints
  • Collaborate with Food & Beverage, Spa, Rooms, Events, and Sales teams to ensure brand-aligned storytelling and experience delivery
  • Identify unique elements of the property, destination, and guest experience that strengthen the brand narrative
  • Ensure local marketing materials reflect approved brand standards
  • Serve as the on-property steward of the Stay Golden loyalty program
  • Partner with the on-property revenue team to monitor booking trends and opportunity gaps
  • Ensure all on-property activations are designed to convert guest interest into leisure room nights and ancillary spend
  • Provide the home office teams with necessary details and creative briefs
  • Capture on-property photography and short-form video
  • Identify story opportunities tied to culinary, wellness, design, events, team members, and local culture
  • Prepare shoot locations and coordinate staff/talent for photography, video, or influencer content needs
  • Host and manage influencers, media, and content creators
  • Maintain a current library of visual and narrative assets
  • Deploy home-office generated marketing assets consistently and accurately
  • Ensure all operational updates impacting marketing are communicated upstream on time
  • Oversee on-property execution for seasonal campaigns, events, and guest activations
  • Confirm that all marketing deliverables are implemented within the required timeline
  • Serve as the project manager for all on-property marketing initiatives
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and cross-departmental responsibilities
  • Track content needs, operational updates, approvals, deadlines, and deployment windows
  • Maintain a master property marketing calendar aligned with home office leadership
  • Identify risks, delays or operational blockers early and communicate them
  • Ensure all property departments provide required inputs on schedule
  • Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses, tourism boards, DMOs, and community organizations
  • Identify brand-aligned collaborations that enhance awareness and engagement
  • Represent the hotel at community events, media engagements, and regional initiatives
  • Develop co-marketing or partnership opportunities
  • Serve as the property’s main point of contact for marketing initiatives from home office
  • Provide weekly updates to home office marketing leadership
  • Supply home office teams with timely and complete property inputs
  • Participate in monthly planning sessions
  • Share qualitative insights on guest response, local trends, competitive activity, and brand opportunities
  • Provide feedback on campaign performance
  • Surface on-property wins or local experiences
  • Maintain awareness of guest sentiment and ensure feedback loops.
