Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year or more experience in activities coordination or event planning
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull without extended sitting
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds
  • Willingness to engage in varied life enrichment activities
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree
  • Preferred Certified Activities Director training

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Training for Certified Activities Director preferred
  • One year or more experience as activities director or event coordinator
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Willingness to participate in diverse program activities
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and perform physical tasks
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds

Job Duties

  • Enhance resident experience through the FACETS® program
  • Develop and implement a diverse calendar of life enrichment activities
  • Promote resident engagement across socialization, health, lifelong learning, legacy, and spirituality
  • Communicate effectively with residents and staff regarding programming
  • Participate in event planning and execution with a wellness-centered focus
  • Foster a friendly, courteous, and professional environment
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to align programs with community standards
