Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Ability to work in an office and community setting
  • Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods
  • Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist occasionally
  • Ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to operate equipment as required
  • Clarity of vision for near, far, and peripheral sight
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Compassion for senior adults and those with disabilities

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient interpersonal relationship skills and entrepreneurial creativity
  • Compassionate with a strong sense of customer service
  • Understanding of senior adults and individuals with physical or mental disabilities

Job Duties

  • Connect new residential residents into the campus and external community
  • Participate in the LifeConnect interview of each resident related to background, interests, abilities, physical limitations and needs to ensure interesting and meaningful engagement for all residents
  • Act as liaison for resident concerns and needs
  • Share constructive feedback received from residents with appropriate departments and act as a change agent in improving the resident and customer service experience
  • Pursue opportunities with the external community that provide outlets for purposeful and meaningful engagement
  • Supervise and direct staff in residential life enrichment, fitness, transportation, and volunteer management
  • Oversee identification, scheduling and planning of on- and off-campus residential life enrichment programs in all dimensions of wellness
  • Oversee the development and implementation of promotional materials and communications
  • Develop collaborative partnerships and provide leadership with life enrichment staff, wellness personnel, Chaplains and Sales
  • Oversee planning, coordination, promotion and implementation of campus-wide events
  • Develop and monitor department expense budgets
  • Determine strategic resident committees and provide leadership in resident-driven programming
  • Manage the organization’s MyCov Life app
  • Inspire staff and residents to share interests and talents and improve wellness in all LifeConnect dimensions
  • Communicate staff engagement opportunities
  • Lead LifeConnect team meetings and encourage meaningful resident relationships
  • Provide leadership in resident transitions by regular engagement and communication
  • Oversee operations of transportation department and supervise drivers
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance with Facilities Management
  • Manage transportation schedules including medical rides, shopping shuttles and transfers
  • Lead growth and development of SAIDO programming throughout the community
