Job Requirements

  • Serve as leader of the Fircrest instructional team and mentor assistant professionals
  • Build and execute seasonal player development plans with measurable goals
  • Foster a fun, welcoming, and improvement-focused culture aligning with Fircrest Golf Club values
  • Regularly work outdoors exposed to weather conditions
  • Able to perform physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent walking, standing, bending, climbing, and repetitive motions
  • Meet physical requirements typical for golf instruction roles

Job Qualifications

  • PGA member in good standing
  • 3+ years of teaching and coaching experience focused on group instruction and player development
  • Experience with junior golf development and modern instructional programming
  • Proficient with golf technology including TrackMan and video analysis
  • Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiastic energy
  • Passion for helping others improve at golf

Job Duties

  • Develop, manage, and teach group instructional programs including junior golf, clinics, camps, and team play
  • Collaborate with professional staff to design engaging group instruction that supports player development
  • Conduct private lessons and on-course instruction using technology such as TrackMan and video analysis
  • Actively play with members to build relationships and support player development
  • Assist in golf operations by serving as starter and conducting marshalling runs to ensure pace of play and member satisfaction
  • Participate in committee work and provide expertise to club initiatives
  • Support professional staff and perform other tasks assigned by the Head Golf Professional
