Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience leading IT operations in hospitality or luxury hotel environments
  • Strong knowledge of property management systems, booking engines, and hotel technology infrastructure
  • Expertise in network management, cybersecurity, and data protection
  • Experience managing IT budgets and vendor relationships
  • Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
  • Experience supporting pre-opening of a luxury hotel
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with cloud technologies, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities including initiative, strategic thinking, and people management
  • Up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Guest-centric approach and understanding of technology's impact on guest experiences

Job Duties

  • Lead IT strategy and execution aligned with hotel business goals and corporate technology roadmap
  • Oversee all hotel technology infrastructure including systems, networks, servers, and data management
  • Ensure cybersecurity protocols and data protection standards are maintained and regularly audited
  • Manage IT budget, capital expenditure, and vendor contracts to optimize cost-effectiveness
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives that enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency
  • Support property management systems, revenue management systems, and all operational software
  • Provide IT support and technical guidance to all departments and end-users
  • Support pre-opening strategy and execution, overseeing all activities within the IT division
  • Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity
  • Monitor system performance, identify risks, and implement proactive solutions
  • Collaborate with corporate IT teams to ensure alignment with group technology standards
  • Lead IT team through recruitment, training, and professional development
  • Conduct regular technology assessments and recommend upgrades or enhancements
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry technology standards
  • Participate in technology planning for hotel renovations and new initiatives
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in technology solutions
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders on IT projects and system status
