Job Requirements

  • 2-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with 4 years of relevant experience
  • or 4-year bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience
  • strong leadership and management skills
  • knowledge of HR best practices
  • experience with HR technology systems
  • ability to develop and implement HR strategies
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • capability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

Job Qualifications

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major with 4 years experience in human resources, management operations, or related area
  • or 4-year bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years experience
  • proven leadership experience in human resources management
  • strong knowledge of talent acquisition, succession planning, and performance management
  • expertise in HR technology tools and systems
  • ability to translate business objectives into strategic HR plans
  • excellent coaching and development skills for employees and management
  • experience in compensation strategy and employee relations
  • demonstrated capability to manage change and lead initiatives
  • effective communication skills and ability to engage with executive leadership
  • proficient in workforce planning and organizational development

Job Duties

  • Executes and follows-up on engagement survey related activities
  • champions and builds the talent management ranks in support of property and region diversity strategy
  • translates business priorities into property Human Resources strategies, plans and actions
  • implements and sustains Human Resources initiatives at the property
  • coordinates the human capital review process and leads succession planning activities
  • leads assessment of leadership pipeline and assists with follow-up
  • creates value through proactive approaches affecting performance or costs
  • monitors effective use of HR technology
  • leads and participates in succession management and workforce planning
  • serves as key change manager for high-impact initiatives
  • attends executive committee meetings and provides HR insights
  • supervises Human Resources staff on property and market
  • analyzes open positions balancing talent development and business needs
  • coaches and facilitates employee selection and interviewing
  • optimizes work processes and staffing
  • develops staffing strategy in collaboration with hiring managers
  • monitors sourcing and staffing outcomes
  • ensures manager competency in staff assessment
  • remains current on compensation environments
  • leads planning of hourly employee compensation strategy
  • champions use of total compensation systems
  • participates in internal equity analysis
  • creates and implements compensation and recognition programs
  • ensures HR staff duties and responsibilities completion
  • trains HR staff in employee-related information
  • serves as resource for employee relations
  • reinforces positive employee relations concepts
