Job Requirements

  • education level of associate's or bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related major
  • experience in human resources management or related professional area
  • ability to manage and execute human resources strategies
  • skill in talent acquisition and workforce planning
  • competence in performance management and employee development
  • capability to lead and coach HR staff
  • familiarity with compensation and benefits planning
  • experience with employee relations and conflict resolution
  • strong communication and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • 2-year degree from accredited university in human resources, business administration, or related field with 4 years of human resources or related experience
  • or 4-year bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field with 2 years of human resources or related experience

Job Duties

  • execute and follow-up on engagement survey related activities
  • champion and build the talent management ranks in support of property and region diversity strategy
  • translate business priorities into property human resources strategies, plans and actions
  • implement and sustain human resources initiatives at the property
  • coordinate the human capital review process at property(ies) and lead succession planning activities
  • lead the assessment of property(ies) leadership pipeline and assist with follow-up
  • create value through proactive approaches affecting performance or cost control
  • monitor effective use of myHR by property managers and employees
  • lead and participate in succession management and workforce planning
  • serve as key change manager for initiatives with high employee impact
  • attend owners meetings as a member of property executive committee and provide context to HR results
  • supervise on-property and market-based human resources staff
  • analyze open positions to balance development of existing talent and business needs
  • serve as coach and facilitator of selection and interviewing process
  • surface opportunities in work processes and staffing optimization
  • make staffing decisions to manage talent cadre and pipeline
  • develop staffing strategy in collaboration with hiring managers
  • monitor sourcing process and outcomes
  • ensure managers are competent in assessing and evaluating hourly staff
  • remain current on internal and external compensation environments
  • lead planning of hourly employee total compensation strategy
  • champion communication and proper use of total compensation systems, tools and policies
  • participate in internal equity analysis and resolve issues
  • create and implement total compensation management packages and incentive programs
  • ensure completion of human resources staff responsibilities
  • ensure property HR staff is properly trained
  • serve as resource to HR staff on employee relations
  • reinforce positive employee relations concepts continuously
