Job Requirements

  • 7 years of progressive human resources director or above experience
  • college degree or equivalent education and experience
  • resort, hotel or hospitality industry experience required
  • thorough knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to HR
  • exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • strong analytical, problem solving and organization skills
  • ability to multitask in a demanding environment
  • commitment to maintaining a positive and organized work environment
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Workday knowledge preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 7 years of progressive experience as a Human Resources Director or above in hospitality
  • proven success in people operations leadership at a hotel or resort
  • college degree or equivalent experience in HR, Hospitality, or Travel & Tourism Management
  • thorough knowledge of federal and state HR laws
  • exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • familiarity with Workday preferred

  • lead recruiting and hiring activities
  • design and implement employee training programs
  • champion employee recognition and retention efforts
  • mentor managers and teams on employee relations
  • administer wage and benefit programs
  • manage worker's compensation claims
  • ensure compliance with California state laws and federal regulations
  • oversee budgeting and coordination of personnel resources
  • maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all personnel records
