Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- 5-7 years of housekeeping leadership experience in luxury or 5-star hotels
- Knowledge of Forbes, AAA, or equivalent luxury service standards
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Capability to perform inspections and maintain high cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive housekeeping leadership experience in a luxury or 5-star property
- Strong knowledge of Forbes Travel Guide standards and ultra-luxury service expectations
- Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams with a focus on empowerment, engagement, and high performance
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, aesthetics, and guest comfort
- Strong financial acumen, organizational skills, and operational expertise
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced, guest-centered environment
Job Duties
- Oversee daily operations of housekeeping, laundry, uniform, and public area teams, ensuring all spaces reflect 5-star luxury standards
- Establish, implement, and monitor cleaning procedures that align with brand, Forbes, and AAA guidelines
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, suites, public areas, back-of-house, and specialty spaces with a meticulous eye for detail
- Ensure timely room availability to support front-office and revenue goals, including coordination with engineering and food & beverage
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of managers, supervisors, room attendants, and support staff
- Conduct Forbes/AAA standards training, service rituals, and continuous development programs
- Respond to and resolve guest concerns with discretion, empathy, and professionalism
- Develop and manage departmental budget, including labor, supplies, uniforms, and operating equipment
- Analyze productivity, forecasting, and cost controls to ensure efficiency without compromising luxury standards
- Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations
