Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Preferred associate degree in hospitality, finance, or management or equivalent work experience
  • Five to ten years of related experience
  • Experience in a 4 or 5 star rated hotel
  • Ability to comply with all state gaming regulations and obtain a license if required
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to move up and down stairs daily
  • Ability to lift 20-30 pounds
  • Availability for a flexible schedule

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Five to ten years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in a 4 or 5 star rated hotel
  • Knowledge of state gaming regulations and ability to obtain required licenses

Job Duties

  • Support, develop, and implement strategic operational and service strategies to maintain market leadership
  • Plan, control, communicate, and implement procedures and processes for efficient overall hotel operations complying with Maryland Gaming Commission regulations
  • Direct and lead hotel department staff including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Facilities
  • Partner with VP of Sales to execute sales and marketing strategies
  • Collaborate on Contact Center operations
  • Liaise with Finance Division to ensure enforcement of policies and controls
  • Prepare short and long-term business plans and budgets aligning with corporate goals
  • Evaluate operational results regularly
  • Support revenue optimization strategies to maximize financial results
  • Enforce and monitor learning and development initiatives to deliver 4-star service
  • Ensure clear definition and understanding of expectations for all direct reports
