Job Requirements

  • strong computer aptitude including Microsoft Office and hotel PMS and POS systems

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in hotel operations in a director or senior leadership role
  • passion for guest service and food and beverage
  • adaptable interpersonal and communication skills
  • professional proficiency in English reading, writing, and verbal communication
  • strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • experience with PMS and POS systems, preferably Infor and Silverware
  • ability to lead diverse teams effectively
  • knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures
  • excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • ability to lead collaborative efforts and problem-solving
  • strong financial and operational acumen

Job Duties

  • Uphold and model the company's principles of People, Place and Character
  • actively participate in interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and motivating hotel associates
  • collaborate with local businesses, community, and partners
  • demonstrate passion and aptitude for all aspects of guest experience, handling guest interactions with professionalism
  • lead daily briefings, weekly operations meetings, and monthly departmental staff meetings to develop ideas and provide feedback
  • assign associates to complete daily activities and inspect accomplishments
  • monitor hotel physical facilities and collaborate on cleaning and maintenance programs
  • lead safety and security matters, responding swiftly to emergencies
  • analyze operational metrics and provide coaching to target issues
  • participate in Executive Committee meetings with insights and feedback
  • work with outside contractors to assure quality and timeliness of work
  • champion hotel initiatives and best practices
  • communicate regularly with the General Manager to align priorities and support operations
