Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 7 years of restaurant experience
- 5 years in management roles
- Passion for Japanese cuisine and hospitality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work on-site 5 days per week including Takibi weekend operation overlap
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for 8-10 hour shifts
- Willingness to work in varying temperature environments
- Ability to engage cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams
- Fluency in Japanese preferred but not required
Job Qualifications
- 7 years of restaurant experience
- 5 years of management experience
- Extensive knowledge and passion for Japanese food and beverage
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of compliance-related laws and regulations
- Trained in food safety
- Strong writing and documentation skills
- Experience with personnel performance management tools
- Expertise in Excel and performance analysis
- Advanced financial and business acumen
- Professional working fluency in Japanese preferred
- Ability to mentor, coach, and develop leaders
- Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Proficient with POS and restaurant operating systems
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

Job Duties
- Lead department strategy balancing operational excellence, Takibi growth strategy, and future food and hospitality ventures
- Own Takibi's profit and loss including financial targets, expense management, labor, budget, and profitability metrics
- Work with Snow Peak's Executive Chef team in Japan and executive leadership to set long-term objectives
- Lead food hospitality strategy including guest experience standards, service model evolution, and expansion opportunities
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership on operational, cultural, and financial matters
- Manage restaurant operations with strategic oversight and hands-on participation
- Define hospitality excellence standards and resolve escalated issues
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and legal requirements
- Monitor and manage cost of goods sold and labor costs
- Build and lead a high-performing, inclusive, and equitable team
- Partner with HR on hiring, onboarding, performance management, and staffing
- Lead regular meetings with front of house and back of house leadership
- Facilitate staff meetings and training to reinforce culture and standards
- Mentor and coach restaurant leaders to foster development and internal mobility
- Maintain knowledge of labor law and ensure compliance
- Lead event programming and special initiatives to drive traffic and brand visibility
- Collaborate with brand and project teams to align restaurant work with Snow Peak campaigns
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
