Job Requirements
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in relevant field with 4 years experience
- or 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 2 years experience
- experience in revenue management, sales and marketing or related professional area
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- proficiency in relevant software and analytical tools
- excellent communication and leadership abilities
- ability to manage teams and projects effectively
- knowledge of hospitality industry and market trends
- ability to work full time and attend necessary meetings and reviews
Job Qualifications
- 2-year degree in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 4 years of experience in revenue management, sales and marketing, or related area
- or 4-year bachelor’s degree in the same fields with 2 years of experience
- strong analytical skills with ability to break down complex information
- proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to revenue management
- proven leadership and team management abilities
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of revenue management systems and market strategy
- experience with displacement analysis and pricing determination
- ability to establish and execute long-term strategic objectives
Job Duties
- Leads business evaluation activities and staff in a given cluster
- communicates group strategy and evaluates all group sales opportunities in partnership with the Sales Manager
- determines optimal pricing options or alternate date/property options for each lead
- facilitates the evaluation process ensuring fast and accurate response to all group sales opportunities
- ensures revenue and profit maximization by calculating displacement and pricing strategies
- provides sales team with analysis philosophies and decision-making support
- serves as sales and customer advocate on behalf of Revenue Management
