- Knowledge of donor motivations and gift planning methods related to resource development
- Demonstrated record of cultivating and closing large gifts
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Job Duties
- Cultivate solicit and steward the 125 prospects and donors most likely to make a substantial planned gift within 12 to 36 months
- Steward all donors who have completed a planned gift collaborating with other fundraisers when donors are on another fundraiser's portfolio
- Meet and exceed gift planning production goals set at the beginning of each fiscal year
- Focus on raising revocable and irrevocable deferred gifts raising no more than 10 percent of total fundraising in outright gifts
- Provide consultation on technically complex and high-end value gifts requiring exceptional stewardship and asset due diligence
- Follow up with territorial and divisional gift planning marketing including mail eNewsletters and digital marketing
- Maintain and report all portfolio information in Salesforce ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
