Job Requirements

  • 5+ years progressive Front Office or Rooms experience
  • 2-3 years leadership overseeing Front Desk and additional guest services
  • Experience in large or resort-style property preferred
  • PMS experience required
  • Passion for hospitality
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem-solving under pressure
  • Tech proficiency
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive Front Office / Rooms experience in upper-upscale or luxury hotel or resort
  • 2-3 years in leadership overseeing Front Desk and one additional guest services area
  • Experience in large, complex, or resort-style property preferred
  • PMS experience required with Infor HMS preferred
  • Passion for hospitality
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Tech-savvy with hotel systems and tools

Job Duties

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing Front Office leadership team
  • Model company values and culture
  • Be a visible presence in lobby and arrival areas
  • Partner with other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences
  • Own the guest journey from arrival to departure
  • Champion guest feedback and lead action plans
  • Handle and resolve complex guest issues personally
  • Oversee VIP, group, and special-occasion arrivals
  • Ensure brand standards are consistently executed
  • Oversee daily operations including staffing and adherence to SOPs
  • Ensure effective use of PMS, POS, and communication tools
  • Maintain accurate cash handling and credit procedures
  • Coordinate with Security and Risk Management on safety protocols
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets and productivity plans
  • Monitor labor costs and adjust staffing schedules
  • Support rate strategies and ancillary revenue programs
  • Track and act on key KPIs
  • Recruit and onboard team members
  • Provide coaching and development plans
  • Implement training programs
  • Foster a culture of teamwork
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Maintain safe and organized areas
  • Partner with HR on employee relations and documentation
