Job Requirements
- BS or BA degree in culinary arts, food services technology or management, hospitality, nutrition and dietetics, or related field
- 7-10 plus years of progressively responsible related experience including 3-5 years of management experience in culinary or kitchen management
- Experience in high volume, multi-site, complex foodservice operations
- ServSafe Manager certification required

- Post graduate degree strongly preferred
- 7-10 plus years of progressively responsible experience including 3-5 years management in culinary or kitchen management
- Experience in high volume, multi-site, complex foodservice operations
- Healthcare and/or higher education experience a plus
- ServSafe Manager certification required
Job Duties
- Ensure compliance with accrediting organization standards including Department of Health, CMS, COMAR regulations, Joint Commission, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and HACCP
- Provide oversight for budget development and departmental financial management
- Collaborate on financial plans to improve efficiencies and revenue generation
- Manage departmental personnel including recruitment, orientation, training, and ongoing development
- Lead training and succession planning for food and culinary professionals
- Develop, implement and modify standardized menus and recipes
- Support and maintain electronic food service systems for JHM Affiliate Hospital
- Monitor patient satisfaction and drive patient experience outcomes
- Promote sustainability initiatives through composting, eco-friendly products and local vendor use
- Ensure compliance with negotiated food contracts in collaboration with Corporate Purchasing
