Job Qualifications
- Six years of operations management experience
- Management experience in cultural iconic amusement or museum attraction preferred
- ServSafe or Food Handling certification preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven leadership and team building skills
- Exceptional problem solving and decision making abilities
- Financial management merchandising analytical planning skills
- Demonstrated ability to work flexibly in fast paced environments
- Computer knowledge for basic office functions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical workload up to 35lbs
- Ability to work varied hours including nights weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Coach supervise direct Food and Catering managers to meet operational needs daily
- Administer and oversee scheduling for Food Operation and Catering departments
- Develop training standards for alcohol service customer service safety and harassment
- Collaborate with Regional Executive Chef and kitchen teams to manage inventory and cost of goods
- Maintain professional communication with Resident Area General Manager and General Manager
- Ensure compliance with local state and federal laws
- Forecast weekly sales manage payroll and controllable profit within guidelines
- Support Director of Catering Sales with business assessments and market pricing
- Implement SSA EXTRA Guest Service standards for memorable guest experiences
- Oversee operational systems processes and policies aligning with business needs
- Ensure unit compliance with company policies health and safety regulations
- Manage employee life-cycle including progressive discipline documentation
- Plan long-range strategy for Catering and Events department programs
- Build working relationships with facility personnel for operational needs
- Develop and support innovative operational items in Food Operations
- Assist with construction or renovation plans
- Audit worker compensation compliance
- Promote inclusive supportive approach at the unit
- Manage unit publications and support sustainability and conservation efforts
- Drive community engagement and opportunities for giving back
- Perform other tasks as necessary
