Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Two or more years of supervisory experience managing full-time staff
- Ability to travel within the San Antonio Food Bank service area
- Working knowledge of food industry safety regulations and trends
- Valid government issued driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Good judgment discretion and adaptability
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Two or more years of supervisory experience managing full-time paid staff
- Ability to travel within San Antonio Food Bank service area
- Progressive experience in business development fundraising sales or partnership management preferred
- Working knowledge of food industry safety regulations and trends
- Exceptional interpersonal oral and written communication skills including presentations
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM database use
- Good judgment and discretion
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Strong organizational skills managing multiple projects with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work cooperatively with staff and volunteers
- Valid government issued driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
Job Duties
- Identify develop and maintain relationships with grocery and foodservice industries to increase food donations
- Monitor and train food sourcing staff for professional growth
- Communicate regularly with key donor contacts via telephone email and site visits
- Coordinate with Transportation Coordinator on pickups and deliveries of donations
- Assist Inventory team with donor database management and tracking donations
- Respond to Feeding America surveys and product offerings timely
- Manage ordering of USDA products via WBSCM and communicate with supply chain team
- Prepare weekly written status reports on product donation activities
- Manage board committee of food industry partners and coordinate meetings and presentations
- Organize two annual special events to procure more food donations
- Develop and maintain a plan of action for product donations with goals and objectives
- Identify potential support sources and maintain prospect list
- Analyze donor productivity using inventory management system and track trends
- Select train motivate and evaluate personnel and provide staff training
- Establish and maintain a positive work environment conducive to morale creativity and teamwork
- Maintain partnerships and communications with other food banks within Texas and nationally
- Manage donor recognition program through thank-you letters and acknowledgments
- Assist Development Department in soliciting in-kind donations for fundraising and events when directed
