Job Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education required
  • 3-5 years food and beverage operation experience required
  • 3-5 years management experience required
  • Culinary, sales and service background required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
  • Safe server alcohol and food handlers certification required
  • Ability to provide and maintain a valid drivers license
  • Must be able to work in extreme temperatures including freezers and kitchens
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs and maneuver equipment up to 250 lbs
  • Regular attendance is essential
  • Must comply with company grooming and uniform standards
  • Must attend all scheduled meetings and training
  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand primary workplace language

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Excellent leadership qualities and customer relations skills
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, written and electronic
  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Office and POS
  • Knowledge of budgetary analysis and mathematical calculations
  • Ability to analyze and forecast operational needs
  • Exceptional issue resolution and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of food products and preparation standards
  • Ability to conduct meetings and maintain communication between staff and management
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local labor laws
  • Self-driven and able to work independently
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of computer programs including Windows OS, PMS, PBX and key systems

Job Duties

  • Plan and direct the functions of the F&B outlets to meet daily operation needs
  • Responsible for short and long term planning of all outlets including restaurant, bar, and in-room dining
  • Monitor industry trends and update beverage lists and menu items accordingly
  • Prepare the F&B budget and monitor department performance
  • Maintain communication with vendors and suppliers for seasonal food options rollout
  • Participate in inventories and prepare reports for accounting
  • Develop and implement strategies for revenue enhancement and cost containment
  • Develop and monitor staff schedules for profitable results
  • Collaborate with culinary and sales teams on menu and event coordination
  • Manage payroll and attendance for F&B staff
  • Control food, beverage, and labor costs
  • Achieve profit objectives and quality standards
  • Conduct food and beverage supply orders
  • Maintain quality and consistency in food delivery
  • Lead and coach teams for guest service and staff satisfaction
  • Maintain high energy, positive attitude, and professional appearance
  • Evaluate customer acceptance and recommend operational and marketing policies
  • Encourage staff performance improvements and arrange training for new and existing staff
  • Serve as a role model by adhering to policies and standards
  • Attend mandatory meetings regularly
  • Assist with guest inquiries
  • Follow safety and security policies
  • Report maintenance and safety issues
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
