Job Requirements

  • Current certification or licensure as required by the state
  • experience in food and nutrition services management
  • ability to ensure quality food preparation
  • ability to procure and store food and supplies efficiently
  • capability in menu planning for staff meals and special functions
  • experience supervising and managing daily Food and Nutrition operations
  • reliable attendance and trustworthiness
  • professional and cooperative demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • Current certification or licensure as required by state
  • demonstrated ability to prepare quality food products according to standard menus and recipes
  • experience in procuring and storing food and supplies effectively
  • skill in planning menus for staff meals and special functions
  • proven leadership in supervising Food and Nutrition Services operations
  • strong organizational and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Ensure compliance and quality in dietary services
  • oversee food safety practices to prevent contamination and improve quality
  • enhance resident satisfaction through initial interviews and dietary assessments
  • maintain accurate and organized resident diet records
  • lead annual and quarterly assessments with dietitian collaboration
  • provide strong leadership including hiring, evaluating, and motivating staff
  • direct daily operations including supervising, scheduling, and coordinating Food and Nutrition staff
  • develop and conduct training programs and orientation for dietary staff
