Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • current certification or licensure required by the state
  • minimum of two years experience in food service or dietary management
  • ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • ensure compliance with dietary standards and quality assurance
  • oversee food safety practices including proper handling and utilization of foods and equipment
  • enhance resident satisfaction by conducting interviews to determine preferences and special dietary needs
  • maintain accurate and up-to-date resident diet cards and organize department records
  • complete annual and quarterly nutrition assessments with dietitian input
  • lead recruitment, hiring, evaluation, motivation, and disciplinary processes for staff
  • supervise, schedule, and coordinate daily operations of the Food and Nutrition Department
  • develop and conduct monthly training and orientation programs for dietary staff
