Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- current certification or licensure required by the state
- minimum of two years experience in food service or dietary management

Job Duties
- ensure compliance with dietary standards and quality assurance
- oversee food safety practices including proper handling and utilization of foods and equipment
- enhance resident satisfaction by conducting interviews to determine preferences and special dietary needs
- maintain accurate and up-to-date resident diet cards and organize department records
- complete annual and quarterly nutrition assessments with dietitian input
- lead recruitment, hiring, evaluation, motivation, and disciplinary processes for staff
- supervise, schedule, and coordinate daily operations of the Food and Nutrition Department
- develop and conduct monthly training and orientation programs for dietary staff
