Job Requirements

  • dependable and willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays excluding thanksgiving and christmas
  • knowledge of legislation and regulations relating to food and beverage
  • minimum 5 years food and beverage management experience
  • experience managing multiple food locations required, arena or venue experience preferred
  • tips certified preferred
  • liquor management background and abc knowledge
  • ability to communicate accurately and professionally with managers, teammates, and guests
  • good sense of balance and ability to bend, kneel, sit, crouch, or crawl frequently
  • ability to regularly lift and/or move up to fifty pounds and occasionally up to one hundred pounds

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 5 years food and beverage management experience

  • knowledge of legislation and regulations relating to food and beverage
  • tips certified preferred
  • liquor management background and abc knowledge
  • ability to communicate accurately and professionally with managers, teammates, and guests

  • ability to work under pressure while multitasking

Job Duties

  • implement and plan effective orientation and training for new staff
  • implement new policies and procedures and professional development activities for experienced staff
  • inspect to ensure safety, sanitation, energy management, preventive maintenance and other standards are met
  • ensure standard operating procedures for revenue and cost control are utilized
  • ensure legal requirements related to wage, hour, alcoholic beverages and food safety are adhered to
  • monitor purchasing and receiving procedures for products and supplies to ensure quality and price
  • review new techniques for food preparation and presentation to maximize guest satisfaction and minimize costs
  • address client and guest complaints to assure high guest satisfaction
  • assist in planning and implementing procedures for special events, banquets, and picnic functions
  • maintain appearance, upkeep and cleanliness of all food and beverage equipment and facilities
  • manage physical food and beverage inventory and provide updated information to accounting
  • audit and approve weekly payroll
  • collaborate with CEO and General Manager on remodeling, refurbishment, and design enhancements
  • oversee implementation of liquor license across park departments
