Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • 5-7 years management experience in food-related or concessions industry
  • Certification in advanced food service sanitation training
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Proficiency in English speaking, reading, and writing
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, POS, and timekeeping systems
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, event-driven team environment
  • Food Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required by local authorities
  • Familiarity with inventory cost control and menu planning
  • Thorough knowledge of sanitation, food preparation, alcohol service policies, and safety standards
  • Ability to perform mathematical functions
  • Responsible cash handling
  • Adherence to high standards of integrity and professionalism
  • Capacity to work independently
  • Must maintain excellent attendance and have open availability including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Assist in overall management of catering, concessions and merchandise operations
  • Oversee and lead catering sales efforts including directing catering team and managing sales and marketing activities
  • Ensure compliance with all alcohol service policies and monitor service during events
  • Assist in management of catered events including communication with staff, culinary teams and guests
  • Ensure legal, efficient, professional and profitable operation of venue
  • Generate and review financial reports including budgets, revenue analysis, and P&L statements
  • Manage employee relations including conflict resolution and labor negotiations
  • Develop, review, and amend policies, procedures and contracts as required
  • Oversee staff scheduling and labor allocation
  • Analyze ticket sales to anticipate staffing needs and project sales ratios
  • Evaluate sales and purchasing data for accurate cost control
  • Program and maintain point of sale systems for accurate reporting
  • Direct and assist managers in goal preparation and attainment
  • Inspect operations regularly to maintain quality standards
  • Prepare and submit required reports accurately and on time
  • Develop and mentor an effective management team
  • Evaluate managerial performance and recommend improvements
  • Collaborate on menu development and marketing plans
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with show managers, suppliers, vendors, and public
