Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Minimum 5 years management experience in food and beverage or related industry
- Valid food handler's certificate
- Valid alcohol service permit if applicable
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Proficiency with POS and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage financial resources and budgeting
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in event-driven or hospitality environment
- Ability to maintain compliance with labor, safety and health regulations
Job Qualifications
- BA or BS with business-related major
- accounting minor or credits preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years management experience in food or concessions industry
- Nationally recognized advanced food service sanitation certification
- Strong communication skills fostering positive work environment
- Ability to make decisions under pressure
- Proficiency in English
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, POS and timekeeping systems
- Ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented, event-driven settings
- Knowledge of concessions locations, equipment and facility access
- Valid Food Handlers certificate
- Valid Alcohol Service Permit if required
- Familiarity with inventory cost control and menu planning
- Thorough knowledge of sanitation, food preparation, alcohol policies and safety standards
- Strong math skills including percentages
- Cash handling accuracy
- High standards of integrity and professionalism
- Ability to work independently
Job Duties
- Assist in overall management of catering, concessions and merchandise operations
- Oversee and lead catering sales efforts and marketing activities
- Ensure compliance with alcohol service policies and monitor events
- Manage catered events from setup to tear down coordinating staff and guests
- Ensure legal, efficient, professional and profitable venue operations
- Generate and review financial reports including budgets, projections and revenue analysis
- Resolve conflicts, mediate labor negotiations and enforce policies
- Author and amend contracts and procedures as directed
- Oversee scheduling and labor allocation planning
- Analyze ticket sales and staffing needs
- Evaluate sales and purchasing data for cost control
- Maintain point of sale system accuracy
- Direct managers to meet future goals and conduct performance evaluations
- Ensure quality standards are maintained through regular inspections
- Develop and maintain relationships with show managers and vendors
