Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field
  • Minimum ten years of senior leadership experience in food and beverage operations within upscale or luxury hotel or resort settings
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple food and beverage outlets and culinary operations
  • Strong financial acumen including budget development, forecasting, and cost control
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record in driving innovation and improving guest satisfaction within food and beverage services
  • Knowledge of local and federal health, safety, and liquor laws
  • Flexibility to work extended hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary

Job Qualifications

  • Experienced with ten or more years in senior leadership roles within Food & Beverage preferably in an upscale/luxury resort environment
  • Seven years or more of experience in food and beverage management and supervision of team members in the hotel, banquet, culinary and/or restaurant industry
  • Possess a mastery level knowledge of current culinary trends, food quality, and food and beverage preparation and presentation
  • Experience in opening or repositioning a hotel within food and beverage discipline and/or with concepting/opening independently positioned venues is highly preferred
  • Experience in a comparable AAA Four Diamond/Four Star hotel or higher is highly desired
  • Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession including management of people and/or complex problems and food and beverage management (front and back of the house)
  • Knowledgeable of hotel operations including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning

Job Duties

  • Lead and provide the overall strategic direction for all food and beverage operations including six dynamic food and beverage outlets as well as a robust culinary department, banquet and catering operations, stewarding and purchasing
  • Manage the staffing, training, and day-to-day activities of the culinary, banquet back of house operations, restaurant, and bar staff
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in distinctive menu design, service delivery, and guest engagement
  • Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to ensure the F&B division supports the overall success of the property
  • Work in close partnership with marketing and revenue management to develop compelling POS offers, promotions and marketing campaigns to increase demand and revenue generation
  • Develop, implement, and manage the department's business plan and budget
  • continually analyze, forecast, monitor and control labor and food costs in alignment with the hotel's financial goals
  • Work in collaboration with hotel leadership to ensure the guest journey throughout food and beverage is executed in alignment with the brand pillars and positioning of the property and guest satisfaction goals
  • Ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws, health regulations, safety, labor laws and operational policies
  • Inspire a culture and passion for working hard, having fun, delivering genuine hospitality and creating memorable culinary experiences for guests worth sharing
