Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in food and beverage management
- Experience in upscale hotel or hospitality industry preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate large teams
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic proficiency in business software and food and beverage technology systems
- Commitment to upholding health and safety standards
- Ability to develop and implement operational policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred
- Extensive experience in upscale full-service hotel food and beverage operations
- Proven leadership and team-building skills
- Strong background in restaurant management and banquet services
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency with technology, analytics, and consumer insights
- Knowledge of food safety and health regulations
- Experience in budget management and financial analysis
Job Duties
- Provide strategic direction and day-to-day oversight for all food and beverage operations
- Plan, direct, and organize the functions of the F&B department including restaurants, bars, banquets, catering, in-room dining, kitchens, and stewarding
- Partner with the Executive Chef and outlet managers on menu development and merchandising
- Develop and implement operating tools, budgets, forecasts, purchase specifications, recipes, portion standards, and food production controls
- Monitor and control food, beverage, and labor costs and analyze financial reports
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, oversee procurement, and negotiate pricing and marketing collaborations
- Lead and inspire F&B leadership teams and line-level employees through communication, coaching, and accountability
- Evaluate guest satisfaction, sales performance, and service delivery to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Develop and administer training and career development programs for team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Sales & Marketing, Events, Finance, and Operations
- Ensure compliance with sanitation codes, food safety regulations, health standards, and loss prevention policies
- Champion a safe and environmentally responsible workplace
- Oversee payroll, scheduling, and labor planning
- Participate in business plan and budget creation including competitor benchmarking and market analysis
- Provide on-site leadership for special events, property re-conceptions, and outlet renovations or openings
- Stay current on food and beverage industry trends
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
