Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
  • minimum 5 years experience in food and beverage management in a hotel or resort
  • ability to lead and develop a diverse team
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • knowledge of local, state, and federal food and beverage regulations
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation
  • monitor and develop schedules for the operation of all restaurants, bars, and outlets to achieve a profitable result
  • participate with the chef and restaurant managers in menu creation and merchandising
  • implement controls of food, beverage, and labor costs and monitor budgets
  • assist managers in achieving profit objectives and maintaining quality standards
  • maximize food and beverage department profitability
  • investigate and resolve food quality and service complaints
