Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hotel management or similar field preferred but not mandatory
- Technical knowledge of food and beverage service
- Knowledge and ability with computer programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum three years of experience in all areas of food and beverage service and supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal health department standards
- Knowledge of rules and regulations regarding alcohol service

Job Duties
- Supervises the hiring, training, and supervision of all food and beverage managers, part-time, on-call banquet and concessions personnel, assures compliance with hiring procedures and behavioral standards
- Monitors and evaluates staff and procedures to ensure high-level guest service and cost efficiency, develops and implements training programs
- Supervises all banquet functions as contracted by sales and marketing staff and oversees Function Order compliance
- Maintains food and beverage cost controls and recommends menu price increases and new items
- Ensures timely completion and distribution of all food and beverage inventories and reports including payroll, tip distribution, banquet checks, labor forecasts
- Adheres to inventory control and cash handling procedures for banquets and food sales, reports discrepancies
- Coordinates food service equipment maintenance and repairs with Operations Manager and Chief Engineer
- Participates in catering sales, menu tastings, and staff meetings and supports budget preparation and management
