Job Requirements

  • 7-10 years in food and beverage leadership, ideally within a hotel or multi-outlet environment
  • Ability to build, motivate, and retain high-performing teams
  • Strong background in front of house, back of house, banquets, service standards, and menu development
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue
  • A hands-on leader who can balance big-picture vision with daily operational needs
  • Must meet the physical demands to perform critical job functions successfully
  • Regularly required to talk or hear
  • Use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Often required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Exposure to extreme heat, steam, and cold in a kitchen environment
  • Occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Noise level is usually moderate
  • Must undergo comprehensive background check as a condition of employment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Extensive experience in luxury hotel or high-volume restaurant food and beverage management
  • Demonstrated success in leading multi-outlet operations
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Financial management and budgeting experience
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and labor regulations
  • Creative and strategic thinking in menu and promotion development
  • Commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership across all food and beverage outlets including fine dining, casual dining, in-room dining, bars, and event spaces, ensuring consistency and excellence
  • Oversee front of house, back of house, and banquet operations, aligning service, culinary, and events teams to deliver a seamless guest experience
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high service standards, building relationships, and personally engaging with guests to gather feedback
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and beverage leadership to develop menus, seasonal offerings, and promotions that highlight creativity, quality, and profitability
  • Recruit, train, and mentor managers and staff, cultivating a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional growth
  • Lead daily pre-shift meetings, weekly food and beverage leadership meetings, and regular executive committee updates to ensure alignment across departments
  • Oversee compliance with all health, safety, and labor laws while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to design promotional campaigns, community events, and brand collaborations that elevate Nine Orchard’s reputation
  • Monitor financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, implementing strategies to maximize revenue while maintaining service and quality
  • Manage vendor relationships, oversee purchasing and inventory systems, and ensure effective supply chain operations
  • Champion sustainability efforts by reducing waste, sourcing locally, and implementing eco-friendly practices
  • Serve as a visible leader on the floor, resolving issues in real time and ensuring smooth daily operations across all outlets
