Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- minimum 5 years of food and beverage management experience
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in budgeting and financial management
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to develop marketing and sales strategies
Job Duties
- Plan and direct the food and beverage department operations
- delegate responsibilities to various sub-department managers
- develop and monitor operating schedules for profitability
- control food, beverage, and labor costs
- assist managers in achieving profit and quality standards
- evaluate customer satisfaction and recommend policy changes
- create budget, forecast, and operational management tools
- provide ongoing employee training and development
- ensure food and beverage standards and guest satisfaction
- manage departmental budget and marketing plans
- lead compliance with company policies and brand standards
- maintain effective communication within the department
- resolve guest complaints to uphold satisfaction
