- Required alcohol service certifications as per federal, state or local laws
- Minimum three years management experience in hospitality food and beverage with guest focus

Job Duties
- Manages service aspects in all food and beverage assigned areas and events, acknowledges, greets and thanks all guests
- Manages dining rooms, lounges, bars and catering events, ensures proper room preparation including set up of tables, chairs, linens, table settings, glassware
- Confirms all service staff are in proper uniform and adhere to company appearance standards
- Hires, manages and trains staff in technical and non-technical roles
- Creates, maintains and distributes weekly schedules for staff and communicates changes
- Communicates with service and kitchen staff regarding reservations and special events
- Conducts pre-shift, pre-meal and pre-event meetings with staff
- Evaluates and supervises performance, carries out disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and laws
- Makes rounds of food and beverage outlets to ensure guest needs are met
- Responsible for employee relations and reviews incidents with General Manager and Human Resources Manager
- Completes and administers employee performance appraisals
- Conducts monthly beverage inventories and quarterly china, glass and silverware inventories
- Opens and closes dining rooms and bars
- Controls costs by assisting management in purchasing and monitoring labor costs
- Maintains accurate daily and weekly punch details for staff and processes daily sales reports
- Maximizes sales through promotions and training staff on up-selling
- Ensures all safety, sanitation, food preparation, food storage and alcohol control policies are followed
- Maintains guest satisfaction by handling feedback and developing new service concepts
- Collaborates with Executive Chef on menu creation and pricing
- Communicates and coordinates with other departments to ensure staff levels and responsibilities
- Upholds company and brand standards, policies and procedures
- Attends all required meetings
- Ensures in-room dining service and tray removal are timely
- Stresses steps of service in pre-shift meetings
- Ensures reservation system efficiency
- Performs other duties as assigned by General Manager or Corporate Director of Food and Beverage
