Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- 3+ years of experience with purchasing
- Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Hospitality and restaurant experience preferred
- Expertise and vast product knowledge of food and beverage products and suppliers
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to set realistic goals and expectations and to communicate these to clients and vendors
- Very strong time management and organizational skills
- Must adhere to hygiene and dress code standards
- Must possess strong leadership skills to manage, motivate and develop staff
- Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Plan short and long term management of food and beverage operations in front and back of house
- Maintain established quality and service standards to maximize profits
- Develop, recommend, implement, and manage the department's annual budget, business and marketing plan, forecasts, and objectives
- Manage personnel within the department, assist in recruiting, development and training of employees to ensure excellent service
- Oversee all food and beverage staff schedules and create schedule for porters
- Conduct performance salary reviews, disciplinary reviews/actions and recommend terminations in conjunction with Director of Business Development
- Conduct monthly (weekly if needed) staff meetings
- Enforce standards and rules for safety, cleanliness, and sanitation
- Coordinate County, City, and State inspections with Director of Operations
- Plan, organize, direct and control all purchasing functions related to food and beverage consumables or equipment and supplies
- Negotiate with suppliers with regard to pricing and programs
- Audit storeroom to maintain consistent quality, sanitation, and inventory
- Ensure that active purchase orders are complete and accurate and maintain all contract and supplier files
- Supervise and oversee the daily work of shipping/receiving porters
- Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Business Development
