Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or equivalent education and experience
- five years of recent and related hospitality or F&B experience, including five years of managerial experience
- valid driver's license with good driving record
- Colorado gaming license
- successful completion of Bloodborne Pathogens and ServSafe certification
- ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, climbing stairs, crouching, lifting up to 30 pounds
- flexible work schedule including additional hours as needed
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrated hospitality or F&B management experience, preferably within a gaming environment
- experience directing employees in F&B operations
- extensive experience in persuading and negotiating
- proven ability to perform under deadlines or pressure
- skilled in problem-solving and work organization
- knowledge of laws related to safety, workers compensation, employment, and the Colorado Limited Gaming Act
Job Duties
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment
- develops F&B programs to meet corporate goals
- executes F&B programs to improve operational performance, increase revenue, and satisfy guests and employees
- establishes and maintains F&B operations in compliance with safety, health standards, employment law, Colorado Limited Gaming Act, and internal policies
- responsible for hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, rewarding, and disciplining staff
- supervises restaurant and bar managers and staff
- ensures proper uniform and compliance with licensing
- implements F&B policies and communicates changes to employees
- manages and controls F&B budget and takes actions to manage operations within budget
- attends casino management meetings and presents on F&B issues
- negotiates with vendors for procurement of food and beverages
- monitors F&B operations and conducts profit and loss analysis
- performs or covers any F&B department position as necessary
- manages guest interaction standards and handles complaints
- directs monthly reconciliation of inventory and report development
- programs menus into Point-of-Sale computers
- directs compliance with security policies
- maintains regular and reliable attendance
- performs other duties including special projects as needed
