Job Description

The Brockton Rox are a professional independent baseball team that competes in the MLB-partnered Frontier League. Based out of Campanelli Stadium, the team operates year-round, serving as a staple sports entertainment option for the local community and fans of baseball alike. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends holidays and all 48 home Rox games
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor stadium environment in varying weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • A degree in Sports Management Hospitality Restaurant Management Food Service Management or a related major is preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in food and beverage management or event management
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience managing budgets labor models and cost controls
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations alcohol service laws and industry best practices
  • Familiarity with Clover POS systems or a similar POS structure
  • TIPS Certified Trainer
  • ServSafe Certified

Job Duties

  • Establish implement and uphold food quality handling and service standards to ensure a consistently high-level ballpark experience
  • Recruit hire train schedule and manage game-day staff overseeing teams of 25-50 plus employees as needed
  • Lead and develop staff to deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable fan experiences through proactive guest engagement
  • Oversee all food and beverage operations for home games premium areas suites clubs catering functions and non-baseball special events including two annual food truck festivals
  • Develop and execute concession and premium hospitality menus that enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with Ticket Sales and Marketing to successfully execute premium experiences and contracted events
  • Develop and manage annual budgets financial forecasts and game-day labor plans while controlling food beverage and labor costs
