Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Five years management experience in luxury hotel banquets and food and beverage or three years in Director role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, holidays
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and prolonged standing
  • Commitment to Five-Star service standards
  • Ability to mentor and lead a diverse team effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Aspire to values of passion, excellence, relevance, collaboration, honor and integrity
  • Five years management experience in banquets and food and beverage outlets within a luxury hotel or three years as Director of Food & Beverage
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant comparable work experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of the Food & Beverage division
  • Provide leadership and guidance to colleagues
  • Coordinate recruitment, training, development, and evaluation of Food & Beverage personnel
  • Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback
  • Uphold Five-Star service standards and resolve guest concerns
  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with guests and patrons
  • Manage financial success through labor, purchasing, and inventory control
  • Participate in strategic and marketing planning
  • Prepare departmental budgets including menu planning and costs
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and liquor laws
  • Equip teams with necessary resources and empower them to perform
