Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six years experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management or related professional area
  • OR two-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major
  • Four years experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management or related professional area
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles
  • Experience with financial resource management
  • Proficiency in administration and management principles
  • Ability to develop and execute business strategies
  • Skilled in material resources management
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Effective communication and mentoring abilities
  • Analytical problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with six years experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management or related field

  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Familiarity with financial resource management

Job Duties

  • Set expectations and hold food and beverage leadership team accountable for demonstrating desired service behaviors
  • Review financial reports and statements to determine food and beverage performance against budget
  • Make recommendations for CAPEX funding of food and beverage equipment and renovations
  • Work with leadership team to develop strategies to improve financial performance
  • Establish challenging and realistic goals to guide operation and performance
  • Develop and manage food and beverage budget
  • Monitor actual and projected sales to ensure revenue goals are met
  • Ensure cash control and liquor control policies are followed
  • Focus on maintaining profit margins without compromising satisfaction
  • Lead, influence, and encourage food and beverage team using interpersonal and communication skills
  • Achieve and exceed performance goals including budget and team goals
  • Serve as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors
  • Develop means to improve profit including estimating cost and benefit
  • Identify opportunities to increase profits through innovation and change
  • Ensure regular communication in all food and beverage areas
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with team
  • Develop and execute food and beverage operating strategy aligned with brand
  • Identify developmental needs and provide coaching and mentoring
  • Stay aware of market trends and introduce new products
  • Provide services above and beyond for customer satisfaction
  • Improve service through guidance and coaching
  • Review guest feedback and ensure corrective action
